So much of our user interfaces are made up of text, which makes typography the design of text incredibly important in UI design. In this unit on text and typography we’ll look at fonts and how to choose them, designing typography for UI design and how to work with text in Penpot. We will use some real life interfaces as case studies to help us learn what makes successful typography, and work on two assignments to put our new typography knowledge into practice.
At the end of this unit, you’ll have everything you need to start working with text and UI design, as well as two unique designs for your portfolio. There’s an opportunity to get really creative in this unit.
