And that wraps up our unit on color. In this unit, we've learned how color can be used for information and hierarchy, as well as for branding. We've learned how to create color palettes and how to use them accessibly, and about the values of different grays, grayscale and the related topic of light and shadows.
We've also learned how to use color for fills and strokes in Penpot. We've covered gradients and how to save our colors in reusable libraries. I hope you feel brave to use color in your UI design and that you are as excited as I am about the potential that color has to set your design work apart.
Your portfolio now has a little bit more life in it. If you want to practice using color more, try doing the assignment again, but do it with a different color palette. And now we know how to use color, we can move on to imagery.
