What is user interface and user experience design? Or to you and me UI and UX? User interface and user experience design are closely related and they often overlap as roles in the design and tech industries.
User experience design focuses on shaping the user's experience with a product. UX includes researching user goals and needs, mapping user journeys through a product, and designing the ways users interact with the product.
User interface design or UI design is often considered a specialized area inside UX design. UI Design focuses on visual interface design. This includes aesthetics, like typography, color icons, or imagery and structure, including hierarchy and layouts.
